Here are twelve instrumental tracks from Mike. Some are from previous CDs. Some are new. A couple are the backing tracks for as-yet unwritten songs, while another couple are the backing tracks of existing songs.

"arrival", "lost" and "sleepytalk" are from "the quintessential shallow man". "jiggery" and "moss" are from "accidentally yours", while "whirling" is from "i". "turquoise" and "heart" are also from "i", but included here without their vocals.

"embers" and "smokemarch" are new instrumentals which most likely will be on Mike’s next CD, to emerge sometime in 2003. "buzzy" and "life" may end as songs . . . or maybe not. They are backing tracks for which words have not flowed yet.
